Front-end devs (or their "AI" tools) out there making real websites:
Build multi-level nested menus out of divs that only open on hover, and then disable pointer events on the final div that actually has a navigation link. That's me clicking repeatedly on a link that must be a real link because the browser is showing me the destination URL, but all I'm doing is selecting text in the page below.

It is time the stardards people gives us a way to markup nested menus with semantic tags that create the nesting and give them the desired behaviour, with no need for JS.

We have already wasted enough time reinventing the wheel and making the same painful mistakes again and again. If it is a standard way to make web interfaces, it should be in the standards.
