Urgh.. getting back into pixelart.. suffering. Because I struggle with basic stuff...

And then making my basic html site... or struggling to progress on raycaster.. meanwhile people out there writin entire fedi software...

And the worst thing is, that I just know this is because I haven't spent enough time.. on all of this. I can 10000% relate. I had to change my career path about 6 years ago (twice), and now I'm just like "WHY IS THIS SO HARD WHEN EVERYONE ELSE MAKES IT SEEM SO EASY???"

And then I realize that, despite having 12 years of academic research experience, only 4 of those are in my new field (and I don't have a bachelors/masters in it either)...so then I feel at least a better about it. And then the cycle repeats the next week lmao.

What projects are you working on rn? Are you doing them in lisp or something else? Either way, I believe you can do it! 😁

Projects, hm.. Well, website... is just very simple website with html and css, but.

Using that as excuse.. pixelart.. some background, then maybe assets.. and hopefully, to keep doing pixelart afternyan

In theory, I have been doing.. things for a while... in practice, I felt out of habit so often, it doesn't count as long at all. Probably part of reason why I feel like that, long time, but not much real experience (I mean.. the most I had done was very simplistic falling sands clone)

as for raycaster, yes, lisp. Just.. gotta wrap my head around.. sending the rays... and stuff..

Is just the matter of actually spending time on it. Weee building habits anew aaaa partially (Because, AAAA)

@queenofhatred Well I'm also trying to figure out lisp and be a better programmer (though not doing raytracing, admittedly).

If you want to do some programming together sometime so we can both learn some stuff, I'm down, and it may help us both build some better habits :)
