Came across an article mentioning this effort to decentralize the web - with Elastos- I have to read it more. I know Kim Commando says he will have something next year- not sure what to make of that. https://www.investinblockchain.com/what-is-elastos/

@freemo I think I might have an answer with Whalebird for Mastodon- since I have a Mac. Its supposed to mimic slack I guess.

@freemo well then- you're way ahead of the game- they're missing out imo. Users don't like the cramped version. I guess they'll eventually figure that out- I hope. Thanks for the info.

Its not on this instance but on Mastodon.Cloud. Basically, I'm relegated to a narrow column there. Even when I unpin the columns. If I recall, all I had to do in qoto was unpin and column and it expanded automatically. This other instance does not allow that.

Is there a suggestions account for #mastodon? Might be helpful to have white as default background - as its easier on the eyes. And the unpin is hard to find for beginners. So they believe they are stuck with four columns. #mytwocents
