It takes an astounding amount of hubris to kill off a well-known social media brand and tarnish a digital legacy.

It's honestly fascinating to watch an established internet institution's goodwill and reputation that has been built up for over a decade slowly unravel before our very eyes.

This CBS piece on the Frankmobile (née Wienermobile) is frankly the kind of hard-hitting journalism that I relish. I genuinely had no idea that wieners and franks were different things. youtube.com/watch?v=2cuTPnp5Rk

@trinsec The older ereaders still work perfectly for their intended purpose. I still have my 2010 Kindle with the hardware keyboard and it works just fine for basic reading. One of the main reasons I upgraded to the Kobo Libra was for the touchscreen and the backlight, but those are luxury features.

I can't believe it's been 20 years since the iTunes Music Store launched. As a music lover and tech enthusiast, it's hard to overstate the impact that it had on the way we consume music. I remember being blown away by the convenience of being able to download individual songs legally. It was a game-changer for those of us who wanted to support our favorite artists but didn't want to shell out $15 for the whole album.

Happy 20th anniversary to the iTunes Music Store, a true pioneer in the digital music landscape.
