I was just thinking about what could possibly go into that 60 hours VC++ course.

Im asuming its just basic C++. Variables (no need to learn about types since modern C++ has 'auto' now, so Im asuming they are skipping all that, which is very important), functions (no calling conventions, no variadics...), basic statements (if-else, for, do-while, perhaps switch), basic operators (without explaining bit shifting or logic), and basic functions from the standard library. Mostly iostream and perhaps, if time allows it, some basic file manipulation. And then the basics of classes, but without going too in-depth with them.

In other words, you would be learning bare-bones C++, not VC++.
You cant teach VC++ without teaching the MFC and the Windows API. And that would take some time. More than 60 hours for sure. Including Visual Studio as well.

So I know its BS.

@enigmatico It’s free. Just take it and complain later. Maybe they can use your feedback to improve future courses. Maybe they could hire you to do it better. Maybe you could get in contact with interesting people with whom you could later collaborate. I don’t know what could happen, but there’s only one way to find out.

@josemanuel Nah. Im just thinking they just want to take their gobernment funds and run away with the money. I've already been in a course like that and I dont want to repeat the experience. Trust me, its a waste of time and effort.

I was just curious about what could possibly go in a course like that. But figuring out would require me to go to Madrid, even if its just one day. And I dont want to.
