Well, in the spirit of nihilism, the only thing I appreciate about the scamdemic is it gave zoomers and gen alpha their own 9/11-scale world event. Because before that people the age of my younger sister, 11 years my junior, just didn't appreciate the magnitude of the surveillance state post 9/11, or they were apathetic about it.

I've read that only 17% of the workforce is working remote, and people keep talking about it like it should be a universal human right.
