I want to do some meta packages for people who don’t want to use my pre-builds to make desktop installls easier. And I plan to add lxqt and more software until I reach a point of not being able to keep track of it all. 😂 But just enough stuff to have a decent repo for #slackware-current available. I don’t plan to ever have all that SBo has, just a curated set of things I feel should be available to slackers who choose to live on the edge.

@jloc0 There's already an unofficial repository of packages for -current. Maybe you can talk to its maintainer if you don't want to duplicate efforts:

github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds

@josemanuel yes, there is the Ponce repo for current. But the Ponce repo is still just SBo, outdated software and all. My repo is not SBo at all. It’s compatible with tools for SBo but it has a few differences. 1) up-to-date software (much of SBo is not), 2) correct aarch64 support. The main point of the repo is to automate building of packages on current for myself for my package repo for aarch64. A side effect is users can also use it, as it’s public facing, if they’d like.
