@mangeurdenuage Clearly a sign. Take it.

@volkerdi Oh, now that I have you here. Will you try @Liberapay in addition to PayPal and Patreon? I used to donate to #Slackware twice a year back when the store was open and I'd love to keep doing it now, but I'm not exactly fond of PP & P.
@snowyfox The problem is, they're all crap. Well, not all, Rimbaud, Baudelaire and Boris Vian are cool, Proust may be all right, but everyone else is just boring. Not necessarily bad, just boring.
I haven't read _Madame Bovary_. Maybe that one is good, too. Everyone loves it.
In my experience, the best French writers are foreigners like Beckett and Cioran.

> criticisizing Hollywood's writing summons anti-wokes
I thought it was exactly the other way around. That anti-woke people hated Hollywood with a passion for destroying established franchises and characters, being paedophiles or both.
I don't have a dog in this race, so I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong.
@volkerdi O Great Oracle! Could you be more specific? Are you dropping 32-bit Slackware or was that just a comment in passing? Thank you in advance.
@Weeble “Two time best-selling author, contract designer and unemployed fel...” Unemployed fel... what?
@coolboymew
> “statements from the face of the emote”
I thought we all at least agreed on dehumanising people being a bad thing.
Advocates of capitalism are very apt to appeal to the sacred principles of liberty, which are embodied in one maxim: The fortunate must not be restrained in the exercise of tyranny over the unfortunate.

Hey, what do you know? Yesterday I was going to publish a post using Pascal's wager as an argument against climate change denial, and it seems I wasn't the OG on this idea:

@why And now she has to pay for two tickets and two ice creams plus interests. Also, she had to put her parents' house as collateral, so let's hope she never gets behind on her payments.
Was the clown _that funny_?
@amy I don't know about others, but in my case it clearly checks out.
I am, without a doubt, the most interesting person I know.
