I work in fields related to nurse training and I detect a lack of teenage boys. I don’t know why, but after a certain age they disappear. I think one of the causes is the lack of male role models in the nursing field, or adult male nurses to look up to or empathize with.

The problem with nuclear energy was never one of pollution, but of it being potentially dangerous if anything goes wrong. (And a lot of things can go wrong with the current state of the technology.) Personally, I think the question we should be asking is: “Would you be willing to have a nuclear power plant near your house knowing that it would be run by your friends and neighbours?”
