When this calculator released over 50 years ago, it was costly enough that you could lease it by the day... let's take a look at it!

After being offline (and even not really using my computers much) for over a week and not really missing it, then coming back and seeing news of big tech privacy issues, and the US's current sanity issues, I'm kinda thinking maybe just going back to the 80s/90s, using computers that aren't hyperconnected and going back to BBSs and BBS parties for socialising.

It seems that everything works so far.
#C64 #uEliteBoard64 !
Keyboard, cartridge, disk, joysticks. :-) Sound is oddly quiet, but also works nicely.

(The board got a temporary home in my breadbin case until I found something nicer)

@GedgeHead It looks more than professional, it's like from a factory! Mine projects are usually like in your first photo :)

Eco-friendly portable swimming

A way to relax. A bit of fun for the city dweller and even to collect some rainwater for something else after...

Been rewatching a lot of #StarTrek #DS9 recently. It’s my favorite Trek by far and incredibly wholesome and witty most of the time. We should really make an effort to get to that Federation utopia at some point instead of behaving like stereotypical Ferengi and Cardassians.
