@jrh I had the same reaction... However since I'm new to the Fediverse, it's actually useful (to me) to have a #followfriday as inspiration. #thankful

@cdevroe Good for me since I'm new here! I just hope the long time locals of the Fediverse are coping and ok with all the birdsite refugees decamping here bringing their olden day traditions
@jrh This sort of influx happens from time to time. Overall, it will be a net positive for the community. More people will be educated on what Mastodon is and how it works. Not everyone will stick around, but that is OK.
