@mzloteanu When I worked in Bioinformatics, it was typical to study the intersections of multiple sets of genes or probes.
Despite being hard to grasp sometimes, IMHO they are way more intuitive than multiple Euler/Venn diagrams in those cases, as shown in https://venn.bio-spring.top/applications.
Moreover, they adapt easily to showing different kinds of data, like distributions/boxplots (your pic).
