The 45-y-old British aid worker Paul Urey has died in a prison in the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

Captured by the advancing Russian forces, he was accused of being a mercenary and was jailed in poor conditions.

The Russians say he died of “stress & illness”.
