After talks on the subject i reconsidered:
#TikTok shouldn’t be banned, but we should give it the nicotine treatment with like “smoking causes cancer” label, but make them show it at the registration page and inform the current users about all the information that they are gathering so that people can do an informed decision on whether they want to share their sensitive pictures, videos, location and audio recordings with China.
Beyond that we need to handle their evidently criminal behavior that it can’t push dangerous and suicidical trends on vulnerable people such as teens to feel pressured by the society to risk their life for followers such as the case of 12yo Archie Battersbee who died as a result of a brainstem death after participating in tiktok’s blackout challenge among many more issues....
