Apparently the new Hyprland compositor backend breaks on Asahi (and probably also every other kmsro system and system with interesting buffer format restrictions, like Mali/Qualcomm/etc). The author isn't sure what they're doing wrong. Of course, the solution is for them to talk to the Freedesktop/Mesa/DRM community, which is where all the people knowledgeable about all these subtleties are... Oh wait 🙃 Getting banned from the Linux Graphics community: not recommended if you want to be writing a Wayland compositor. Either way, this isn't an Asahi problem, so please don't file bugs with us.
