NATO imposed sanction on russia for the illegal annexation of Crimea and will pose a new sanctions if they invade ukraine.
If you have any other options that would maintain the interest of both parties and enabled both parties to have healthier economical relations then propose it.

I will welcome Georgia and Moldova in the EU and NATO if they decides to join.
Again threats to the russian federation from this is recognized and the option for peaceful resolution is available.

kiev choosed the EU and NATO as evident by the recent polling so you have two options
a) fuck off from the ukrainian border and avoid a bloody conflict with more losses and strategical disadvantage on your side
b) Continue giving NATO reasons to defend it's member states and declare a war which you will lose even if you take in china with you in this conflict.
NATO is giving CSTO all the opportunities to engage in a peaceful resolution and is open to establish an agreenment on the presence of military equipment assuming that CSTO's equipment does not threaten the NATO.
