As someone who basically got into #neuroscience by accident (my original background is mathematics and physics) I constantly feel a bit of #impostersyndrom due to my lack of biological/neurological knowledge. Specifically I find it quite challenging to get a global overview on neuroscience. It seems to me that the field is super vast and hard to summarize. Any source suggestions to start getting a better global view on neuroscience?

@skrausse Same! CS background. I'm at an institute that had mainly studied fly neurobiology at the time, and went to my first SfN and was surprised to see how few people worked on flies 🤦‍♀️
My solution has been to be okay with not knowing everything, and trusting collaborators. One of the things I bring to my work is expertise from CS, so I've decided to focus more on attempting to keep up with the quickly changing machine learning & computer vision fields.
