Life hack: When packaging ground beef for freezing put 1lb in a ziploc bag and then flatten it out. Use the back of a knife to score the meat through the bag before you freeze it. Once you pull it out it not only breaks apart easily to be taken out but you can break it in 4 equal squares to make 1/4th pound hamburgers
