@raulclima The sound track of my college years
@raulclima This is fantastic! How does it compare to a sky quality meter? I think I still have a few in the basement from Unihedron used in student projects.
@philshapiro That is, it looks as lovely as it sounds.
Too many languages on Duolingo and one forgets one's mother tongue.
@philshapiro It's as lovely looking as it is sounding.
@Saltssaltgirl I did that with my Fitbit last week. Best cardio day ever.
@philshapiro That's lovely. I'd love to have a harp.😁

@MicroSFF This would have been useful when I asked my mom to write a letter so I could take shop in jr high (1962). She said no, you're weird enough.
@drskyskull Administration said students (mostly adult) "liked" once/week classes even if they ran 5-6 hours. Of course they did, but I was never convinced they learned much.
@drskyskull It was the 5-10 PM class/lab that killed me. Especially that old dude who wouldn't leave until he got results to his liking.
@rudepundit Read the syllabus and do your damn homework
We based the lesson on everything teachers got wrong here https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/EJ851875.pdf
@Forbes Yet my coauthor and I couldn't require our technician classes to use our book on introductory optics (there was no other at the time) because ethics. We gave them pdfs for free.
@OkieSpaceQueen I did a workshop for fifth graders on reflection. We started with "what reflects light?" With a flashlight, they saw that every object they tested reflected light onto their desk. Teacher: "I didn't know that!"
@philshapiro Have you heard @patrickdextervc on the bird site? I don't know if it's the cello or the location but it's haunting.
@philshapiro I brought a cello home in high school (main instruments violin/flute) and my mom said sitting that way wasn't ladylike.
