@colehaddon I think if I had been there I would have cried. I love this song and this setting is all that is life-affirming about catwalk. I had the fortune to attend a Burberry show in London’s West End, it would have been 2017 or 2018. I went reluctantly despite having been a photographer of some 25 years plus and having done a small amount of fashion photography myself in the course of this career. I went under the auspices of taking pictures to help my daughter’s school project. I didn’t want to leave. I saw concrete and feathers both used to great effect. Theme was the cape. The designs were so imaginative. The catwalk was electrifying and there was a huge amount of breathtakingly beautiful photography to back it up. It was going to New York and L.A., but opened there in London. I will never forget it.
@lavenderlens What a wonderful memory, Alan. The artistry that goes into these catwalk shows is staggering.
