Moments ago, my twitter account was locked because of a very casual reply to a controversial post. However, that's my guess. Who knows the real reason? They didn't tell me anything.

Ironically, that reminds me of Chinese social websites, who always overlook users' right to know, right to appeal and right to be a living human (rather than a piece of digital asset). Moreover, twitter and platforms like instagram and facebook are becoming more and more isolated and closed. Remember the times when we can browse tweets freely inside IE, even no need to be logged in? They all are degenerating towards an Orwellian end👍

@lbing everyone always has been treated as commodity by software proprietors everywhere, nothing chinese social website about that. Chinese government just established its own monopolies in its own country instead of submitting to US mega-corps, so they (and everyone else who did submit) are butthurt about that.
