I've realised that when someone asks me to do something without giving any indication of how important it is or what kind of deadline there might be, I prioritise it in part based on how I was asked. The more annoying the wording and method of communication are, the longer it'll take me to get to a request, probably out of subconsious spite

@Zonz it varies! But for an example that regularly happens…
Coworker A sends me a one-sentence message in the work chat about a typo on the website while I’m doing non-focused tasks. I’ll probably drop what I’m doing and fix it.
Coworker B, whom I like equally as much as A, emails me a three-sentence email about a typo, with the story of how they found it. I’ll look at the email and file it in the “do later” pile.
