Is there any work of fiction that addresses the fact that a time machine, unless also a teleportation device to compensate for the movement of the earth/whatever between origin and destination times, would cause people to time-travel into outer space 99% of the time?
@levisan If it is a true time machine, it will compensate for this by using relative coordinates and not absolute coordinates.
I want to travel back/forwards to this place where it is located in the time I chose, not to the absolute location in space.
Probably need a Heisenberg compensator too.
