I think a lot of people get confused when they see a % VALUE ("10% of cats are robots in 2021") and then also see a % CHANGE ("50% more cats are robots in 2022").
They think "10% and 50% more is 10+50=60% of cats are robots in 2022" instead of "10% and 50% more is 10+10*1.5=10% of cats are robots in 2022".
Almost like they are treading the two % signs as the same units but they're not. Similar to accidentally combining ounces (of weight) and fluid ounces.
