What’s the best TV OS?
@mike Back when I was a kid, the OS was contained in a reasonably-cheaply-replaceable set-top box and I miss those days
@levisan I’m in the market for a new living room TV. We’ll continue using our Apple TV after we get a new one. But we’ll still have to use the TV’s interface for things from time to time — switching inputs, configuring settings, etc.
@mike It's funny-not-funny how much we have to rely on the tv's ever-bloating OS just to get it to show something via HDMI
