The "owners" of Mondrian's "Red, Blue, and Yellow" painting from 1930 claim that it's still under copyright protection because of some third country's copyright law whose term on this painting expired 2 years before the USA law's term expired for this painting in January 2026.

People should be punished for asserting ownership of shit like this after copyright has expired.
