Multiple arcs of different colours does not a rainbow make

The best thing about this strip is the future generations that have been inspired by Calvin to build the best snow creatures gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/2

In case capital punishment as a reality show doesn't work out.

I feel like I have heard of so many shows recently that are aimed at adult audiences and centred around staff at school. Why is that a thing? It seems like a weird niche.

Are you inherently easy to please or have you realised that intentionally avoiding conflicts makes people like you more?

"it's so much effort and time to type in my password every time" they say as they dismiss the biometric option because "it takes too long"

The people who say that you shouldn’t lead your answer to “tell me about yourself“ with what you do for work.

Do you mean to say that I shouldn’t default to explaining how I occupy myself for the task that takes up the most time of my waking hours?

Do you actually care about what it is that interests me?

I get it, if your job is just about making money and it's not very important for who you are, then leading with that isn't important. But I love my job. A lot.

"How do you spend your spare time?" gets answered with "…the same things I do in my job"

Is there any legal precident (anywhere) for holding those that are responsible for the design of features of public land when those features are responsible for casulties?

Considering how ostracised some people make me feel in casual conversations at social gatherings, it's a wonder I get invited to specifcally discussion-focused gatherings by the same people.

I wonder if they don't realise how they make me feel, or if they are inviting me because of some sense of social obligation.

You can tell how well you know someone by how well you understand the context of context-less comments shouted into the void

“Blast this Christmas music! It’s joyful and triumphant.”

Every once in a while I remember that Universe 25 suggests that copulation is not utopic

The whole "would you trust your SO with your phone?" trope is so annoying. If someone wants to be sneaky about something, they'll figure out how to hide it.

Either one doesn't keep their deepest darkest secrets on their phone or they don't have secrets.

Anyone saying "no" is either putting on an act or is an idiot.

I can’t help but say this feels out of character for a Wikipedia article.

A recurring experience:

1. Person complains to me about an IT-related gripe they have
2. I suggest a remedy
3. They brush me off like fixing the problem is less important than complaining about it

I don't know what to make of this.
