Every once in a while, I think back to grade 10 and my mid-term report where the PE teacher said that I "seem to forget" my gym strip rather often, thus marking me as not present.

He never once questioned me about why I wasn't participating.

I wasn't participating because I realised that I could, if questioned, just say "I'm not feeling good" and get away with it. But I never had to use that excuse because he just marked me as delinquent, instead of caring enough to find out.
