Sounds silly, but over the course of two months, running my Pixelfed instance has made my life so much better.
I know music collecting is a silly niche hobby. Some even regard it as obsolete.
But it really improves my well-being to show you all what I'm listening to during any given day.

@atomicpoet Collecting physical things has its appeals. I have sometimes considered collecting #vinyls I think there's a emotional draw too as it feels like going back to simpler times.
Appliancizing technology makes so much sense to me in a "all-in-one" world.
Sometimes its nice when a calculator is just a calculator and s stereo a stereo.
