@_Davidsmith Is there a “count up” widget in Widgetsmith? I’ve looked and can’t find one, but maybe I’m not looking in the right place/under the right name or not realizing that I can customize an existing widget with a different name to do what I want. What I want is like a “number of days since the last workplace accident” sign that keeps counting up automatically until I say “whoops” and reset it to 0.

@lorihc I know this isn’t really answering your question – it’s not a widget in David’s widgetsmith – but if you can’t get it to work any other way, this app can do a “days since”. apps.apple.com/au/app/countdow

@lorihc Not exactly, the Countdown widget sort of gets close but it is an H:m:s timer when the date is in the past. Which I don't think really fits with what you are after,😞

@_Davidsmith Right. I love the countdown widget for anticipating vacations and events, but what I need is an automatic streak counter that only stops when I reset it. No manual interaction needed (which is why I’m not using Streaks for this).

@lorihc Will Streaks’ Negative task work for you? Two big downsides I see are it doesn’t show “zero” when it’s been reset, and the difficulty of marking it as “broken”.

@_Davidsmith

@JasonAnthonyGuy @_Davidsmith Yes, I am trying Streaks’ negative task now. I don’t love the widget tho; Countdown and Hindsight suit my needs better.
