Idk why you brought the Taliban up in this the subject is pretty broad considering there's more than two country still doing this.
Some country have made it non legal but is still practiced and the cops aren't applying the law.

It was just and random example. Then I thought of the odds of surviving stealing someone else's wife and guns do not play in favor of such scenarios. Im hindsight, there are far easier countries to attempt such a stunt.
