My youngest wanted a slinky for his birthday. He got a slinky. Now, I've already untangled it 10 times...

@WendyDLN That makes sense. My youngest wanted a slinky and within an hour was detangled several times. Then it broke... yep, broke. It was one of those cheap, colorful, plastic models.

@CubicleNate this is also one of the plastic ones. His hasn't broken yet. I think I need to look for a metal one.

I'd be careful about the metal ones. From personal experience, it can be used unintentionally as a weapon.

Behold the Urumi:: what happens when a slinky and a sword get together.

@lucifargundam @WendyDLN The funny thing about kids, anything can become a weapon at anytime. I am hoping they don't do this with their slinkies. :)
