The Discovery channel is getting less and less about discovery and more about bullshit.

It was one of the few remaining but it appears to be dying.. Is @NatGeo next?

@stux I like @NatGeo. Hope they remain good. Never watched Discovery on TV though. We don't have that here. It's cable, right?

@arh @NatGeo I guess so :blobcatgiggle: Via internet these days, interactive TV

@stux we didn't have internet back in the day. We had simple TV. We spent our time playing in the streets with real friends. Not much TV, no internet, no phones. Good old days.

Back in my day, we didn't have tv and the radio wasn't invented yet- why, us lads ran around the village and threw rocks at each other until we all knocked out!
/Sarcasm

In all seriousness, Nat Geo has been losing revenue over the years- so you know what direction they'll be going to stay afloat. Discovery is the same way but already had a wider girth as a topic/theme.

It's a shame such educational media is underappreciated.
