I have an original PS3 that needs reballing. Its one of the ones that's backwards compatible, and I've been holding on to it for years, waiting to find someone capable of the repair...

If you're talking about the 'fatboy' ps3's that were also ps1/ps2 backwards compatible, I just repaired mine recently. Though I've yet to actually hook it up and check out the video again- I so far only know I fixed the power issue(which was the original problem).

Reballing stuff can be a pain if you don't have enough experience under your belt to have a stable, confident hand at it. My current job doesn't require me to do this stuff- but know how to do it. I learned how to do this stuff out of hobby/necessity.
