@lunarised @lucifargundam linux has more games than iOS
that's impressively bad for being the second most used OS
Mac is definitely the best, windows is for gaymers and linux is for the LGBTP.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised what can you even do on MacOS other than use a web browser?
at that point just buy a chromebook
You can edit photos and videos and do a lot of other stuff, and I actually played SOMA last week but I stopped cause it was too scary.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised you can also do that on windows too. most windows apps don't nickel and dime you either.
I’ve never had an app on mac nickel and dime me, and windows is spyware so..

Piracy is wrong and morally reprehensible.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised piracy is okay if the company is already doing morally reprehensible things.
That’s incorrect. If the company is doing morally reprehensible things, you shouldn’t use their stuff, and that doesn’t justify stealing work that others had to put their time and effort into anyway.
No, you’re just a thief that justifies stealing others labour, and to make it worse you act as if it’s somehow virtuous.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised I would rather give money to the homeless than line the pockets of rich d-bags.
most of the money never reaches the workers anyways.
More fake and gay justifications and vapid virtue signalling, and right, I’m sure the employees aren’t paid from the money earned by selling their products (???). You know, you can not be a thief and still give money to the homeless.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised and in a lot of countries, piracy is the only real option.
and games these days can go down later, even if you paid for it.
and buying used games is no better, as the game company makes nothing off that sell.
does that mean we should stop buying used games then?
Look, if you’re living in a mud hut in the jungle and you steal games or whatever, fine. But that’s not what’s happening in your case, or the overwhelming majority of cases. You just like to enrich yourself on the backs of others. The used game issue is a completely separate topic.

@Jessica @lucifargundam @bot @lunarised pssst, I’m going to let you in on a little secret

They all do morally reprehensible things.

@e @Jessica @lucifargundam @bot @lunarised you can still like companies while acknowledging they do bad things. I don’t know too much about steam bc I’ve only used it for like, one game I actually paid for 😆

@marine @Jessica @lucifargundam @bot @lunarised I can't think of anything steam has done that is morally bad

@e @Jessica @lucifargundam @bot @lunarised off the top of my head, I can’t either, but I’ve also heard that they’ve gotten worse over the years (idk how true that is or not)

@e @Jessica @marine @lucifargundam @bot steamOS is a blessing, only because it makes linux have a big gamer marketshare.

Based steam
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised macOS isn't any less spyware. macOS tracks every app launch and sends it back to apple.
and all of this is unencrypted too.
not even windows is that bad.
Windows is way worse, everyone knows that. They track literally everything you do.
@bot @lucifargundam @lunarised not my install though.
unlike MacOS, you can actually turn it off.
@bot @Jessica @lucifargundam @lunarised

Don't forget that MacOS has a full Unix environment where you can install all the linux stuff
Our server is hosted on Linux btw, just sayin
>disheveled looking autist comes into the lecture
>opens up bulky gamer laptop
>see it's running linux
>frantically start calling campus security to report the incel about to shoot up the class
