The circuit you need for the next test can either be purchased as an off-the-shelf lab instrument for $1000, or be built by yourself with $10 worth of of components - the catch is that when you choose this path, it may become a project in itself - after doing tons of design works, the main project has not even started. Then you understand why they sell the off-the-shelf lab instrument for $1000... #electronics

These electronics projects can often be recursive. :blobcatnotlikethis2: You need circuit Y to test circuit X, you don't want to spend $1000 on Y so you decided to build your own, in the middle of building Y, you find you also need an even more obscure circuit Z.

The test equipment you
have on hand is never the test equipment you need to fix the test equimpent you want. - bitseeker #electronics
