Car side of fedi, need advice:

There is moisture on the inside of my windows and the heat smells like brown sugar on fire.
Is there a possibility my heater core is going out? And if so, is that the "throw the entire car away" repair?

<< Condensation? That's normal.

<< Sweet heat?
"If there is a sweet smell coming from your car, then it's most likely leaking coolant (or antifreeze, for anyone that lives where it gets below freezing). Leaking coolant is a major problem. If your vehicle gets too low on coolant/antifreeze, it will overheat"

"Here are the most common reasons why your car heater isn't blowing hot air. Low coolant: Whether caused by a leak or water evaporation, low coolant is the most common source of poor heater output. Thermostat: A stuck-open thermostat prevents the engine (and coolant) from heating up."

<< No, but definitely something to take care of asap.
