Got that deep tabletop mood. Anyone feel like playing ryuutama on the weekend?
@lucifargundam RPG from Japan. Lore is about people going on a journey and main hazard and mechanics are about traveling through the wilderness rather than combat outright. Friendly nature dragons that chill out in the woods and cause weather. GM gets a PC called a Ryuujin who sets the tone of the story, occasionally intervenes indirectly, and feeds the story of what happens each session to the greater dragon it serves, leveling their own powers of intervention. The whole party collaboratively comes up with the details of the world they explore and places they travel to at the table. Big emphasis on things like tracking food supplies, days of travel, direction, etc. Combat system lets you name objects around the encounter and you get a bonus for weaving them into your fight through RP.

It's not a super well known system, but it has a lighthearted adventurous tone to it thats hard to come by anywhere else.
