- go to Lowe’s
- buy a 20” box fan
- buy 4x20”x30” Filterete 1900 filters (the blue ones (20” is the important measurement))
- buy wide painters tape (blue matches nicely)
- make a box out of the filters (arrows pointing in)
- tape the box fan to the top of the filter box, air blowing upward
- tape the corners of the fan grill so you don’t get backflow — stick a piece of paper over the corners and it’ll be obvious
Anyone who lives in the Pacific northwest has been raised and bred to inhale toxic forest fire smoke and digest it into everyday hellscape that is someone's house on fire on yet another Tuesday.
There's a good reason why fire insurance is a serious issue in those parts.
