will modern USB hard drive enclosures support stuff like SMART and DISCARD? planning to add some bigger storage to that optiplex
alternatively, eSATA? I can probably get a 1x PCI-e card for it...
@lucifargundam x16 slot is being used for a network card so I only have a half-height x1 slot to work with
