Although true, it's not nearly as bad as the willful ignorance that literally causes masked murder-suicide that goes unnoticed due to lack of matured perspectives by a society still clinging to gradeschool playground behavior.
Set aside the Barbie-plastic-body oddity of microplastics, people are genuinely believing the world is perfect so long as they themselves are not affected by any passive negative connotations.
