Welp... Adding sugar and vanilla didn't really help much. Can't really taste it. The bread came out the same way as last time. I should try again with yeast next time. Not sure how much to add though in a case like this...

I read somewhere just now that it's useful to post additional information about oneself. So, I'm:

the daughter of one of the early nuclear engineers. He specialized in materials research for shielding suitability;
70 years old;
retired from a healthcare system after 40 years of employment with them, the last 20 years were in IT;
The proud mother of a mathematics in a Denver university who is also invilved with the LGBTQ community;
fond of fi;
also watch extended versions of every year;
former mother of a bushbaby, who passed in 1971;
definitely left of center;
a voter;
getting solar panels in February;
a fugitive from Texas currently in Albuquerque, NM;
fond of all animals, used to be the neighborhood snake wrangler;
the daughter of a natural history devotee;
a voracious reader;
the wife of a fine arts scholar, who has read me to sleep every night for 24 years - all of the major classics and many of the minor ones (I got the liberal arts education that I had missed as a science student);
a terrible housekeeper, with an even worse house husband;
glad to be alive even though that might change any day with the current political disaster.

@s_ptf
wouldn't that essentially be a quarterly sabbatical?

I've had a couple of unprompted (by me) - and completely independent - conversations on content-resolving music players in the last week. Also the old Tomahawk Facebook page (!) seems to be getting renewed interest. It would be cool to see a new generation get excited about this stuff.

(For those that are interested, @fribbledom, me, and a few other folks that I haven't found on Mastodon yet, spent many years on this about a decade ago: github.com/tomahawk-player/tom)

@ahi
You assume technology has common sense.

Technology cannot think for itself.

Many people lack common sense.

We have a way to go before smart-cookers become smart-chefs. They are not the same.

@eris
I suppose you've never used lettuce to wrap it instead of using bread,?

@jegpeek
Are you going to save some pinecones for decorating the holidays?

Also, if you don't feel like tossing metal pipes/rods/flakes in the fire to change color- you can always buy these::::
