We learned Ada, possibly because I went to Linköping Uni and Saab in Linköping makes fighter jets that run on Ada. 😀

Yea, I learned Cobol and Ada. I had a combined economic and IT study. Ada for software design principles and Cobol for some business stuff, although it was also quite entertaining to develop the usual algorithms in a language that does nit support recursion and you have to build your own stack for that and so on.
