#Sway works very nice on the #pinebookpro, if you are interested.
It is one install option for #postmarketos for the PBP and works really well.
(I know, postmarketos aims for mobiles, but the is a PBP version :-)
@marcuse1w Steep learning curve... Gimme some time to learn 😀

It’s actually ok. The default settings are quite all right. There is a thread in the forum.pine64.org for #sway on #postmarketos.
The default settings are quite sane. It is worth though to check some keyboard shortcuts first, and also that the default terminal is installed.
The one thing for a beginner with tiling wms is that they often show an almost empty screen at startup and nowhere to click with the mouse to explore, so you need to know some keyboard shortcuts.
@marcuse1w Yeah I was totally mystified when I tried Manjaro i3 on Pinebook Pro 😀
@lupyuen
Well, I moved away as well. For Notebooks it’s maybe not so important. What has stuck is the WIN+RETURN shortcut to get a terminal in KDE or any GUI.
But more crucially I use virtual desktops much more, and that makes much more sense for me now and is a good help on laptops. One desktop for termials, one for the browser, one editor, one for whatever.. so I always use 4 desktops and WIN+F1/F2/F3/F4 to switch. works fine for me and helps to sort your screen
