Aha #BL602 DMA "Automatic Address Accumulation" means "Automatic Address Increment" ... Quirky translation of "地址自动累加"
https://github.com/bouffalolab/bl_docs/tree/main/BL602_RM/zh_CN
Yep #BL602 DMA "Automatic Address Increment" makes more sense
https://lupyuen.github.io/articles/spi#lli_list_init-create-dma-linked-list
Duh silly me ... #BL602 DMA_MINC is explained in the STM32 docs!
@lupyuen I wouldn't write it off as a bad translation right away, having seen the terms used in some devices to mean generalized address incrementation. Say you're writing audio samples into a stereo stream, then you might increment the pointer not by 1, but by 2 times the word size. "Accumulator" makes sense then.
Google Search for "Automatic Address Accumulation" shows this DMA Patent by Microchip ... Coincidence? 🤔
