@lupyuen here's an interesting question for you, when did Singaporeans become "nice"? About twenty years ago I remember vendors being quite aggressive, now people seem nicer and more service minded.

@mishari I suppose things changed when Singapore started investing in overseas companies 20 years ago?

I remember working in Optus (AU Telco). It was a culture shock for us, we had to change ourselves to blend in.
