@lupyuen server problem seems fixed, no more empty thumbnails for sites using incomplete opengraph metadata 🥳

so it's not fixed, and the problem exists only because mastodon wants to comply with twitter opengraph 🤦♂️
@lupyuen thumbnails should be generated by the server producing the ActivityPub chunk, so it's probably not your app
