Well, there is also needs for storing data in a device that is not "ejectable" such as flash memory on PCB.

Btw, do you know of any FAT32 implementation suitable for tiny microcontrollers, i.e. no posix available?

TBH, is you save data to an sd card it is almost always because you want to read the file later on a host. Maybe there will be a linux driver soon.

@lupyuen I heard about it a few months ago, although never tried it. It's quite a low-key language compared to the likes of Zig.

I might try to write a Forth using it.

@lupyuen E was a language that had quite a bit of popularity in the Amiga days. It was even used for commercial products. Obviously it slipped by the wayside due to the decline of the Amiga. Ports are available for other platforms called Portable-E.
