@lupyuen ...the 1st time I heard about #lora was about 5 years ago when hired as a consultant to do an 'in-house' pilot project for one of the 'big 3' in #Detroit . Having spent over 10 years in another spread spectrum tech, #cdma , and once seeing how LoRa could actually have 'negative SNR' , I knew immediately its huge potential for #iot. Sadly, and as stated in the piece, many in the industry don't listen to us RF eng and get 'hyped' into the 'noise' - until now. Better late than never! 🔴
