i see no reason to believe anyone scaremongering about AI in hyperbolic terms such as "X industry is over." Such terror-inducing Rhetoric wouldn't make any sense if those peddling it believed their own words (because if AI is about to make X thing better and easier to make, that would be self-evidently good and wouldn't require such an aggressive sales pitch). The purpose of the fearmongering is to scam people into investing. Invest NOW for EASY MONEY or MISS OUT FOREVER

I find that the discussions I have with people about it don't end up being very nuanced unfortunately 😔 And what's doubly unfortunate is that a friend of mine actually decided not to become a programmer because "ChatGPT will automate it all"....
